Timo Tolvanen is an Australian luthier, guitarist and singer/songwriter.
Timo built his first guitar over 20 years ago and has been a sought after builder and guitar tech ever since. Many of Australia's finest, well-known musicians play Tolvanen guitars. Timo has also shipped his guitars to various locations around the world including the USA, New Zealand, the UK and other countries in Europe including Sweden and the country of his birth, Finland.
As a working guitarist for many years, Timo fully understands the critical requirements of professional players and has designed his guitars accordingly. Every guitar sold is fully set up. That includes, fret levelling, crowning and polishing. A set up is not just adjusting the action and truss rod!
As a singer/songwriter, Timo goes by the name Tim Withano - that's Tim with-an-o...:).
