The A300 is an Arched Back Dreadnoughts series acoustic guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1978. It was hand-made in Japan.

The A300 features a dreadnought body with spruce top on arched mahogany back and mahogany sides. The round soundhole is trimmed with black and white multi-line rosette and a tortoise pickguard. The mahogany neck has a 20-fret ebonized rosewood fingerboard with pearl split block position markers and a rosewood headstock. Components include a rosewood bridge, a bone nut, and gold covered machine heads.

The arched back construction affords enough strength to the back of the instrument that the need for tone robbing braces is eliminated. This computer calculated arch has been designed to enhance volume and projection, and to provide a deeper and richer tone.
